This roll of brown Kraft-Tex is 1/4 of a metre. It has been machine washed and dyed, and therefore may slightly differ from its original size.
Kraft-Tex is a durable paper fabric that looks and feels like leather but works like fabric, able to be cut, sewn, and washed like a textile. It is strong enough for high-wear projects and can be used for crafts like bookmaking, sewing projects, and mixed-media art. It is a vegan, cellulose-based product with a small amount of synthetic latex, and it can be machine washed and dried to soften its texture. Please note that it has already been washed and dyed.
I use Kraft Tex as a base for my fabric covered journals and other fabric covered projects. In the photos above is an accordion folder I recently made out of Kraft-Tex and fabric. I used 2 rolls of these brown Kraft-Tex pieces for the accordion parts visible on the inside, and lining the fabric is the unwashed stone coloured kraft-Tex you can find in another listing on my shop. The fabric I used is also listed on my shop.
*Please note the folder is an example of what you can make and is not included in purchase.
Just like paper, it can be easily embossed as well!
This sized piece could make at least one or two journal covers, for example, depending on the size of your journal.
